Our Business Continuity consultants are fellows or members of the BCI. "The BCI provides an internationally recognised status and its wider role is to promote the highest standards of professional competence and commercial ethics in the provision and maintenance of business continuity management services". For this reason we would encourage all Business Continuity professionals to join the BCI. UK Resilience (The Civil Contingencies Secretariat)
This site is run by the News Co-ordination Centre, part of the UK Cabinet Office's Civil Contingencies Secretariat. The CCS is a co-ordinating body and centre of expertise set up to improve the resilience of Central Government and of the UK. The site contains advice, information, up-to-date news and links to other sources of information.

City of London

The "Keeping you informed" page of the Corporation of London website contains information on the City of London pager alert scheme and links to the site's other Business Continuity related pages (including "Major incident response", "The Civil Contingencies Act", "Business Continuity" and "Cordon access database").

The Home Office

The Home Office is the Government department responsible for internal affairs in England and Wales. Their website contains useful information and guidelines for disaster management and emergency planning.

The London Emergency Services Liaison Panel

The London Emergency Services Liaison Panel (LESLP) was established in 1973. Its purpose is to ensure a partnership approach between all the relevant agencies in the planning for, and the response to, a major incident of whatever kind. This could be anything from a terrorist attack to a natural disaster such as a severe flood, which may occur within the Greater London area.
